Within the park, aside from snaking walking paths and benches situated under tall trees, a selection of heritage-listed sites attract attention throughout the year. The four-storey Old Windmill is the oldest building in the entire state of Queensland, and is the unofficial star of Wickham Park. The Wickham Park Air Raid Shelters are also heritage sites, which were built in the midst of World War Two and are now considered to be important in remembering the effect of the war on Brisbane civilians.
Spring Hill is also home to the Spring Hill Baths, which is a heritage-listed swimming pool still used by patrons today. Built between 1886 and 1913, the pool was one of the first in the country to permit mixed bathing, and is now used for many purposes.
